Tel Aviv In Pictures
Forever intrigued by the Middle East, and inspired by my Lebanese family roots, I jumped at the chance to travel to the neighbouring country of Israel. Tel Aviv presented me with an extravaganza of colourful eye candy, rich smelling foods and a gripping cosmopolitan energy. The waves of a big blue mediterranean sea crashed onto it’s windy shoreline, making it all the more compelling. Colourful rainbow pops appeared around every corner allowing me to create a vivid photographic journal.
Brown beach house
A breathtaking beach view from the balcony of Brown Beach House. Staying here planted the seed for a new found love of yellow, a colour which presented itself pretty much everywhere I went.
CARMEL market
ancient port
Bright yellow accents and sandy toned brick walls set against rich, blue and turquoise tones of the sea. I loved the thick textures and teal tones of the mounds of fishing nets by the water.
Jaffa
Strolling through the pretty alleyways in the cultural hub of Tel Aviv and discovering the fascinating artefacts found in Jaffa Flea Market.
Neve Tzedek
The quiet, boutique filled neighbourhood of Neve Tzedek boasts numerous cafes, restaurants and galleries.
